Controvento is a multidisciplinary design studio with a collective approach, founded in Amsterdam in 2022 by Verdiana Vannini (Business Director) and Gabriele Chiave (Creative Director). With studios in Amsterdam and Milan, and a global network of collaborators, the studio works across product and interior design, artistic installations, branding, creative direction, and strategic consulting.
Rooted in the belief that diversity fuels creativity, Controvento brings together a team of professionals with varied expertise and design backgrounds. This inclusive and collaborative approach drives the studio’s ability to craft human-centered design that blends storytelling and craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility and innovative mindset.
