FIAM Charity Dinner a Villa Miralfiore

It could only take place at Villa Miralfiore, home of the Museum of Glass and Design created by Vittorio Livi, the Charity Dinner organized by FIAM Italia in support of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and its project to rebuild the kindergarten in Sforzacosta, a working-class neighborhood of Macerata, damaged by the 2016 earthquake.

A tangible manifestation of the universe of values shared by FIAM Italia and its partners, bearing witness to the attention paid to an area still in need of help, that follows up on other social initiatives promoted by the over the years.

Laura Biancalani, General Manager of ABF, explained in detail the objectives of the Sforzacosta project and said she was delighted to have forged new ties with FIAM Italia “which is gracing us with support and closeness that we will definitely reciprocate with responsibilitỳ and transparency.”

The initiative, which took place on June 15th, was organized with the valuable contribution of important partners, such as Stefano Ciotti, star chef of the Nostrano restaurant, main food sponsor of the event, who delighted the palates of the guests with his finest dishes.

On behalf of Fondazione Mediolanum, Charity Partner of the initiative, was Sara Doris (Vice-President of Banca Mediolanum and President of Fondazione Mediolanum), who pledged to double the first 30,000 euros raised, testifying to the worthwhile collaboration that has linked the Foundation with FIAM Italia and ABF over the years.

Marked by a festive family atmosphere and a special spirit of solidarity and humanity, the dinner was also attended by the Mayor of Pesaro Matteo Ricci and by the famous violinist Marco Santini, who enlivened the evening by thrilling those present with his music.

Daniele Livi, CEO of FIAM, spoke to the guests to illustrate the spirit of the initiative, “There is still a lot to do and together we can do so much. This is why we have organized, with the valuable support of all our Partners, a special dinner to help one of the neighborhoods still hurt by the earthquake, just as we did in 2017 with the reconstruction of the secondary school in Cascia.” Then, after thanking the Partners of the event at every level and all those present for their generosity, which resulted in more than 80,000 euros of funds raised, the founder of the company Vittorio Livi took the floor as well and seized the opportunity to remind all the participants of FIAM Italia’s 50th year of activity.

The initiatives conceived to celebrate this important milestone will continue during the upcoming months, but the founder pointed out how the most beautiful gift is definitely doing something good by bringing aid and solidarity to the territories that need this most.

The availability in a limited edition of 50 pieces of Onda Pouf, the iconic curved glass seat that will be put back into production for the occasion, branded with an indelible logo in pure gold, numbered and personally signed by its creator, Vittorio Livi, enriches the initiative’s spirit of solidarity as well.

50 retailers around the world will be able to apply to purchase this unique product and celebrate with FIAM this special year, thanks to a series of events the Marche-based company is planning in various parts of the world-India, Kuwait, Morocco, Miami and South America.

For individuals who would also like to support the construction of the Educational Hub in the Sforzacosta neighborhood in Macerata, a mini Onda Pouf is available instead in a limited edition of 100 exclusive 1:5 scale miniatures, which can be reserved here.

FIAM’s 50th anniversary celebrations will therefore end in June 2024 with a gala dinner attended by all the designers who have contributed to the company’s success. Among other things, this will be FIAM’s contribution to the celebrations that will see Pesaro as the Italian Capital of Culture in 2024.
